So when the famous “macaroon” house Ladurée decided to collaborate with the king of the red carpet Christian Louboutin, it was obvious that it would end with a serious piece of work!
Three special macaroon boxes
Since September 11th, Ladurée macaroons are coming in limited-edition packages designed by Christian Louboutin himself. There are three different assortments available for 6, 8 or 18 macaroons, each box cover presents an exclusive trompe-l’oeil painting that mocks a scratched macaroon sachet with Louboutin pumps and Ladurée pastries.
For special occasions, special macaroons
Ladurée’s pastry chef, Philippe Andrieu has also teamed with Christian Louboutin to create a series of macaroons refering to the shoe-designer universe with delicate Mediterranean flavors and an homage to the famous red shoe-sole (Louboutin’s brand signature) with fig and date.
