For the well-known design agency, the 5.5 designers, water constitutes an essential element in our daily life. They’ve created two special objects for the cognac brand Hennessy to valorise water and enhance the cognac tasting experience.
The Eternal Ice Drop
How to cool your cognac without diluting it?
The 5.5 designers’ response for Hennessy is the Eternal Ice Drop, a glass drop you fill with water and froze. It then acts as a cooler in a glass of cognac without altering its aroma and flavour.
The Water Purificator
How to use only pure water to add to your cognac?
5.5 designers propose a filtering decanter system, the Water Purificator, designed to purify tap water for cognac degustation. The purificator is composed of two items: a glass decanter and a silver filter holder.
H2O Hennessy
The two H2O project items will not be available before Arpil 2010 on the 5.5 designers e-store and the Cognac Hennessy Store, but they’re currently presented at the exhibition “H2O, Hennesssy et l’Eau” in Cognac.
