Louis Vuitton's first fine jewelry collection by Lorenz Bäumer
Louis Vuitton and high-end travel
Revealed on last October 15 at Louis Vuitton’s Paris flagship, the first fine jewelry collection of the malletier House is in direct line with the recent ad campaign starring outstanding travel icons as the astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Jim Lovell and Sally Ride.
The collection by Lorenz Bäumer
Named l’Ame du Voyage – Spirit of Travel, the collection features five thematic sets homage to worldwide colors:
- Ruffle and Polka Dots,
- Flying Ribbons,
- Fans and Umbrellas,
- Tribal Ornament,
- Swirls and Giddiness.
Each set include a unique necklace (up to $2.5million) and matching finery pieces all designed by the renowned jeweller Lorenz Baümer.
Signature diamonds
For this collection, Louis Vuitton has shaped special signature diamonds to celebrate the two emblems of the brand: the monogram flower and star. Thanks to a unique technique, the diamonds have an inimitable sparkle and are promised to the same renown as the monogram canvas.
